A LEED certified landscape promoted pedestrian-centered public realm and innovative grading strategies to create vibrant and sustainable urban environment.

NAVAGRAH LA+UD is currently involved in landscape architecture and urban design of this key multifamily development in the LEED neighborhood of Currie Barracks in Calgary. In response to the significant slopes within the site, NAVAGRAH prepared an innovative, pedestrian-centered landscape and grading strategy aimed at achieving seamless transition.

The landscape design featured a central promenade along with multipurpose open space, with two courtyard spaces connecting to the central open space. Together, the landscape design provided an engaging platform to promote active social environment within the development and along its edges.
